First Oktoberfest 5K kicks off in Cape Coral

Cape Coral, Fla.- Runners laced up their sneakers this morning to participate in the first Oktoberfest 5k and Tot Trot.
The German American Social Club and LCEC teamed up to host the event, which benefits the United Way of Lee, Glades and Hendry Counties.
The race started at 7:30 a.m. at Jim Jeffers park.
