LEE COUNTY, Fla. - Florida Highway Patrol says a woman was hospitalized Sunday after her car ended up in a drainage ditch off U.S. 41 in South Fort Myers.
State troopers said the incident followed a two-car crash at U.S. 41 and Cypress Lake. FHP said one vehicle swerved to get out of the way, and the female driver ended up in the water. She was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
