FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Fort Myers police are searching for the gunman in an overnight shooting. It happened on Winkler Avenue, not far from Colonial Boulevard in Fort Myers and involves a man and a woman.
More than 20 people showed up at the Lee Memorial Trauma Center for the two victims. WINK News' Amanda Hall says family members are upstairs and they're at the hospital for a man and a woman they say were friends.
Fort Myers police have identified the victims as Michelle Fletcher, 34 and Quayshun Lewis, 21.
We know the two were taken to Lee Memorial by ambulance with multiple gunshot wounds and were said to have life threatening injuries.
Officers have not named any suspects.
