PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla.- Charlotte County Sheriff's Narcotics detectives raided a Port Charlotte home Thursday at 7:30 a.m. and found 136 grams of marijuana; two arrests were made. Following an investigation, detectives obtained a search warrant for 600 Fern Drive and made entry into the home. Inside were Randall S. Mirasolo, 24, and Brian J. Evans, also 24.

In the search of Mirasolo’s bathroom adjoining his bedroom, detectives found a bucket with five glass jars containing marijuana, several Zip-Lock baggies with marijuana residue, a digital scale, and $1,775 in cash. A 9mm handgun was also located on his bedroom nightstand. A search of Evans bedroom found a plastic container with one gram of marijuana. Mirasolo told detectives he puts the marijuana in glass jars to keep the smell down. He also said Evans had nothing to do with the marijuana he sells.

Mirasolo was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana over 20 Grams, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Violation of Probation. He was taken to the Charlotte County Jail where he remains on no bond. This is Mirasolo’s eighth booking. Evans was arrested, but not taken to jail; he was given a Notice to Appear on a charge of Possession of Marijuana.
