A person has died after a shooting near Apple Street in Immokalee. It happened just after 1 p.m., Wednesday. Collier County Sheriffs are investigating the deadly shooting. Authorities have not identified the victim. According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, “One person is in custody. This is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the community.” Neighbors said this wasn’t the first time that they have seen police activity at the home.
