KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) - A state lawmaker from central Florida is dropping out of his re-election race after his name was linked to a prostitution arrest.
    
The speaker-designate of the Florida House of Representatives said Monday that State Rep. Mike Horner will not seek re-election.
    
Will Weatherford says Horner made the right decision, and it's in the best interests of his family and the state.
    
Bernie Presha, a spokesman for the State Attorney's Office in Orlando, says the name "Mike Horner" was found on a list of names in the garbage of a defendant arrested 10 days ago for running a prostitution ring.
    
Presha says Horner is not being investigated for any crime.
    
No one answered the phone at Horner's offices in Kissimmee and Tallahassee.
    
The 44-year-old Horner is married and has a son.
