BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. - Two months after Lee County deputies raided Dr. Grekos's Regenocyte office in Bonita Springs, state records show a new practice with ties to the doctor popped up in its place.
Intercellular Sciences received its license in May, and based on its website, it "follows in the footsteps" of its predecessor.
The website also shows many of the same doctors as Regenocyte, including Grekos, who is listed as "Chief Medical Officer."
The state Department of Health says the doctor's license is still active, but was placed on emergency suspension in March, after a second patient in his care died.
The agency is aware Grekos is with this new practice but is unable to tell WINK News whether he is illegally practicing medicine.
Staff at Intercellular sciences said Grekos never comes into the office on Bonita Beach Road and is not practicing medicine. However, they could not explain what the doctor's role with the company is.
Meantime, the Lee County Sheriff's Office is still actively investigating Grekos for homicide, but cannot comment further.
