FMPD investigates 17th homicide of the year

FORT MYERS, Fla.- The victim of the shooting that took place at 3438 Lantana Street last Wednesday has died from his injuries.
Fort Myers Police said 19-year-old Damarquis Blanks was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital around 8:30 p.m. on September 12th, after suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
