CAPE CORAL, Fla.- Cape Coral Police are investigating an incident in which two vehicles were stolen from Fucillo Kia.
The dealership discovered a 2007 gray Dodge Charger and a 2004 beige Lincoln Aviator were missing while taking inventory on Sunday. Kia had recently experienced several other vehicle thefts and, based on that information, Kia employees went to The Crossings apartment complex to search for the vehicles where they successfully located the stolen vehicles there.
It is unknown how the suspects made entry into the vehicles.
Partial fingerprints were taken from the steering wheel of the Dodge. According to a witness, the Dodge had been seen driving around the apartment complex several times in the past few days, but a suspect was not seen, due to dark window tinting.
The investigation continues.
