NOCATEE, FL - Florida Wildlife officers in a helicopter located the body of an unidentified woman who was allegedly pushed into the peace river on Sunday by her boyfriend. Searchers had been scouring the river in boats and on jet skis for nearly two full days. Helicopters came from as far away as Sarasota county helping in the recovery effort. Witnesses say the woman was on a bridge in Morgan park in Arcadia when her boyfriend pushed her in the water despite her cries that she could not swim. The woman went under and investigators say the woman's boyfriend and another man gathered her belongings and left the scene. They have been arrested and charged with manslaughter and accessory to manslaughter.
