ENGLEWOOD, Fla.- Charlotte County Sheriff's detectives arrested an Englewood boutique employee Friday for multiple thefts by false voids, false returns, stealing cash out of the register, and deposit shortages. Sarah Kristine Dill, 22, of 10501 Amberjack Way in Cape Haze, was arrested for Grand Theft.
On Aug. 26, the manager of Beach Road Boutiqueat 1350 Beach Road reported she reviewed surveillance video and cash register tape records from the previous day and discovered multiple suspicious transactions by employee Dill. Further investigation by CCSO detectives found 15 thefts of cash taken by Dill between Aug. 13 and 25 amounting to $806.
Dill was located, arrested and transported to the Charlotte County Jail. Saturday, she posted a $2,500 bond and was released. This is her second booking in Charlotte County.
