Crews fight fire at a Golden Gate residence

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- Crews were on the scene of a house fire that sparked while the homeowner was away at 2995 41 St. SW, in Golden Gate, Friday afternoon.
Smoke was seen coming from the roof.
No one was injured.
The fire was contained to the kitchen, but smoke damaged other parts of the home.
The cause is still unknown.
The homeowner's son showed up on the scene. No one was home during the fire.
