PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) - Authorities believe a body that washed ashore at the Pensacola Naval Air Station may be that of a jet-skier who went missing earlier in the week.
    
Investigators were called to the area about 7:45 p.m. Thursday after the body washed up at Sherman Cove in Pensacola.
    
The U.S. Coast Guard had suspended the search for the 47-year-old man earlier Thursday because of weather conditions.
    
The Pensacola News Journal (http://on.pnj.com/QHZmVd ) reports the jet-skier was reported missing by his wife on Monday as Hurricane Isaac approached the northern Gulf of Mexico.
    
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the U.S. Coast Guard are continuing an investigation. The medical examiner's office will perform an autopsy.
