NAPLES, Fla - CBS Travel Editor Peter Greenberg made a quick stop in Naples Thursday. The travel journalist is in Naples taping his nationally syndicated radio show Peter Greenberg Worldwide.

Greenberg's show gives travelers tips, he says, they can't find in guide books.

"The travel industry is the most resilient industry in the economy right now," says Greenberg. "It provides one out of every seven jobs, it's almost 10 percent of global GDP. It's staggering when you understand the power and impact of the travel industry."

Greenberg says although it may be the hottest month, August is the best time to visit Florida. "The thing about florida is that it's not seasonal anymore. Wake up! There are things you can do in August that you should do in August that you wouldn't be caught dead doing in January because who wants to stand in line."

The show highlighting the Naples area will air on September 8.
