LEE COUNTY, FL - Don't panic, be prepared. That is the message from many retailers. With Isaac tracking toward our area a number of Southwest Floridians are heading to their local gas stations and food stores to stock up on essential items. Some store owners we spoke to say that is the best idea to get your food shopping out of the way and fill up your car. The reason, if Isaac causes power outages, your favorite shop or gas station could be closed if they do not have a generator. In addition, getting your needed items early could help you avoid long lines from those who have waited until the last minute.
