LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. - The Lee County Sheriff's Office made three arrests in two separate robberies that happened last week in Lehigh Acres. All three suspects are teenagers. The teens were caught Friday night, shortly after a second robbery at the Star Mart on Lee Boulevard.
Investigators say a 15 and 16-year-old are accused of robbing the Lee Boulevard Marathon gas station on Monday. They were arrested as a result of a tip to Crime Stoppers. The other 16-year-old was linked to the Star Mart robbery.
Deputies say he went into the store with a gun and demanded money.
All three are charged with Robbery with a Weapon.
