Two men taken to hospital after Palm Beach Blvd. car crash

FORT MYERS, Fl. - Two men are in serious condition Thursday night after a car crash on Palm Beach Boulevard.
Police say the men were speeding and lost control of their car. The car jumped the median and slammed into a pick-up truck with a family inside.
The driver and passenger of the speeding car were taken to the hospital.
The family was treated at the scene. WINK News spoke with the father who was driving the truck.
"They were trying to drive like the fast and the furious an they lost control. I just said hold on. Thank God for airbags," says Shannon Ayers.
Police say the man driving the speeding car is facing reckless driving charges.
