COLLIER COUNTY, FL - The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission continues their investigation into a deadly jet ski accident off of Keewadin island in Collier county on Sunday. Investigators say Jorge Mendez and Carlos Ignacio Aragon, both of Miami, were out on the water when the two collided. Mendez jumped from his jet ski seconds before the crash and was not hurt. Aragon was knocked off of his jet ski and died on his way to the hospital. At this point, investigators say, they do not know whether alcohol was involved.
