TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Over 300 people in Tampa may have had their personal information stolen from the local health department.
    
The Hillsborough County Health Department issued a statement late Wednesday saying an employee intentionally printed documents that listed everything from a person's name and date of birth to their Social Security number and protected health information. No financial information was on the paperwork.
    
Authorities say the department was notified of the security breach on May 25. It has since sent letters notifying those who may have been affected.
    
The department says the unidentified employee has been dismissed. Police are investigating.
    
Health department spokesman Steve Huard said in the statement it was not immediately known "what the direct impact will be" but the county will provide credit monitoring services to those affected.
