LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Southwest Florida residents will soon have more options when flying out of RSW. Spirit Airlines announced Tuesday morning, it is doubling the cities it serves out of Fort Myers.
People will see three new flight options from the airline. The company just announced it will now offer non-stop flights to Boston, Minneapolis/St. Paul and Dallas/Fort Worth. These will be offered during high-season, starting this November, and will run through April. The flights to Boston and Minneapolis/St. Paul will be on a daily basis. Flights to Dallas/Fort Worth will be offered three times a week.
Spirit Airlines says it's expanding in this direction because it thinks these connections will be popular.
Other airlines currently offer flights to these cities, but this will offer more choices for people flying.
