Suspect steals wheelchair lift from elderly woman

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Lee County Sheriff's deputies are searching for the suspect, or suspects, who stole a wheelchair lift and generator motors from a 72-year-old woman.
The victim reported that at some point in mid-February of this year, someone gained access to her garage, located on Skates Circle, and stole the items. The suspect(s) gained entry by unlocking the garage door through its jalousie window.
It is unknown why the crime was not reported at the time it occurred.
