Fire crews battle South Fort Myers condo fire

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Fire crews are battling a condo fire at 1495 Memoli Lane in South Fort Myers.
It is an 8 unit, 2 story building off Winkler Road near Cypress Lake High School.
Those eight units are destroyed and unlivable. The fire spread through the attic.
One fire fighter was taken to the hospital for head and neck pain after a partial roof collapse.
No other injuries have been reported. It is not known how many families are affected.
Fort Myers Beach, San Carlos, Iona McGregor and South Trail fire departments all responded.
