PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla.- Charlotte County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit detectives obtained a search warrant for an ongoing drug investigation at a Port Charlotte home earlier this week. However, before they could serve the warrant, CCSO received a call concerning a domestic battery at the suspect’s home just this morning.
Deputies responded to the Lakeview Blvd. home but the occupants refused to come out. Meanwhile, Narcotics detectives were notified and responded to serve the search warrant they had obtained.
Michael P. Brennan, 27, andJessica M. Domaldo, 24, finally came out of the home about 45 minutes later along with three small children. The search warrant was issued and a search of the home began. Detectives located Clonazepam and Methadone pills, along with a semi-automatic 9mm firearm with an empty magazine.
Deputies contacted the Department of Children and Families and the children were taken into DCF custody.
While the investigation was underway, a friend drove up to the home and inquired what was going on.Kyle Robert Crytzer, 25, of North Port, was recognized from an unrelated undercover drug buy and was also arrested.
All three were transported to the Charlotte County Jail. Brennan and Domaldo were both charged with Possession of Methadone, Possession of Clonazepam, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Child Neglect.
Brennan was additionally charged with Sale and Delivery of Narcotics, Possession of Drugs without a Prescription, Battery and two counts of Resisting an Officer.
Crytzer was charged with Sale and Delivery of Narcotics, Drug Possession without a Prescription, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
