FORT MYERS, Fla.- On Saturday, at 11:14 p.m. the Fort Myers Police Department responded to an attempted burglary at Shoot Straight located at 2418 Colonial Boulevard.

An activated alarm system alerted police to the crime in progress. However, upon police arrival the suspects had already fled the scene.

Surveillance video shows two male suspects using a baseball bat in an effort to gain entry to the business. When that didn’t work, they climbed on the roof, which triggered the alarm and scared them off.

The first suspect was wearing a red, hooded sweatshirt, black shorts and black sneakers. He had medium length dreadlocks.

The second suspect was wearing all black or dark clothing and sneakers.
