NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - Two people are dead and one person is injured after a shooting Friday morning in North Fort Myers.

On Friday, at 6:50 a.m., the Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of shots fired at 4403 Teasdale Drive in North Fort Myers. As deputies were responding, a related call was being received regarding an injured subject one block over at 5885 Sandburg Drive.

When deputies arrived on the scene they located two persons deceased on Teasdale Drive and one injured person on Sandburg Drive. The injured person had fled the scene on Teasdale and has been transported to a local hospital for treatment.

They believe this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community.

The names and causes of death are not being released at this time.
