FORT MYERS, Fla. - Summer Camp 2012 is coming for the Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium and sign up is already underway.  Where the Wild Ones Are features about two dozen different camp sessions throughout the summer months.  Camp sessions are geared toward different interests and age groups.  But each session does off campers the opportunity to hike the nature trails and see a show in the planetarium.

Each camp session includes games, crafts, experiments, stories, and live animal presentations.  Campers have the chance to learn about reptiles and heptiles.  They can also take a week learning more about how to survive in the wild, or maybe some of nature's mysteries like 'What makes a skunk stink?'  For kids who are more into space exploration, they have camps designed for them too.

Summer camps vary in price and date, but each camp is a week long day camp run by the Calusa Nature Center and its staff.  For more information go to the website, calusanature.org.  You can also check out other events coming up.
