North Port Police investigate a shooting

NORTH PORT, Fla.- On Tuesday, officers responded to the 6100 block of Freemont Street in North Port in reference to a shooting.
Upon arrival, Officers found a deceased white female believed to be in her mid-30’s. Investigators are on scene and are currently investigating the incident.
It is unknown at this time if there was foul play involved.
