FORT MYERS, Fla.- Hundreds of spectators swarmed Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on Sunday for the 68th Annual Dunbar Easter Parade.

The annual outing featured floats from an array of organizations in the Dunbar community, as well as musical performances from local churches. The Dunbar High School Band and Drum line dazzled the crowd with a rhythmic roar, echoing in the streets.

The Dunbar High School Lady Tigers Girls Basketball team served as the Grand Marshals of the parade.

Spectators say it's a tradition uniting the Dunbar community year after year.

"It's the time of the year that everybody gets together we come out, celebrate until the parade is over. They have other events going on after it's done. It's a celebration for our whole neighborhood," said Reginald Ross, who participated in the parade as a child.
