SANIBEL, Fla.-Police are investigating possible arson on Sanibel.

On Monday, the Sanibel Police Department received a report of a brush fire on the west side of the gate on Island Inn Road. There were six separate locations where the fires were ignited. The Sanibel Fire Department extinguished the fire without further incident.

The Sanibel Police Department is looking for a white male unshaven, with side burns the length of his ear lobes, a slight gap in his front teeth, approximately 20-25 years of age, wearing a plain white t-shirt and dark shorts and mirrored aviator type sunglasses. He was seen in the area riding a bicycle eastbound on Island Inn Road.
