DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (AP) - A South Florida teen who police believed had been abducted on her way to school has been found unharmed.
A search for 17-year-old Jade Beneby of Delray Beach was prompted Tuesday after she sent a text message to her mother "Mommy, help me. I'm in trouble." The girl's grandmother said the teen sent a second message, claiming she was in the trunk of a car.
Delray Beach police say the girl was found safe, though they haven't said where she was located. They're questioning the teen over the circumstances of her disappearance.
