CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (AP) - A suspect in the slaying of a Port St. Lucie man has been found dead alongside a busy Broward County road.
Coral Springs police told the South Florida Sun Sentinel (http://bit.ly/yn89TS ) that the body of 60-year-old Mikhail Sergatiouk was found not far from a local high school. He apparently died from a self-inflicted wound from a shotgun found next to his body.
Sergatiouk was being sought for the Saturday night shooting death of 43-year-old Aleksandr Gorbach in Port St. Lucie. Police say a shotgun was also used in that killing.
Investigators have not revealed a possible motive for the killing.
State records show that Gorbach and Sergatiouk were in business together at a company called Bauer Comfort USA. The records show the company was dissolved in January 2011.
