PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla.- Charlotte County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit detectives arrested a Punta Gorda and a Sarasota woman for prostitution Thursday.

Sensations at 3860 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte, has been the center of an ongoing prostitution investigation. The detective’s investigation learned that various forms of sex were offered at Sensations in exchange for money.

A search warrant was obtained and served at 1:30 p.m. Cathy Diann Slaughter, 43, of 2303 Zito Court in Sarasota, was found inside. Detectives said they located a video recording machine and a tape that is being reviewed showing customers; further arrests may be made.

A warrant was issued for another woman who also had been working at Sensations during the investigation. Thursday evening, on Charlotte Street in Punta Gorda, a road deputy located Kacee Lynn Henderson, 30, of 701 Aqui Esta Drive in Punta Gorda, and arrested her.

This is not the first time an arrest has been made at Sensations. In November 2010, detectives made arrests at Sensations that was advertised as a Massage Parlor & Steam Bath Service.

Slaughter and Henderson were transported to the Charlotte County Jail on Prostitution charges. Slaughter posted a $500 bond; Henderson a $1,000 bond and both were released. This was Slaughter’s seventh booking.
