NAPLES, Fla.- The grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony is Friday at 8 a.m. The store is located on U.S. 41 and Immokalee Road.
On Thursday, Trader Joe's signed a fair food agreement with the coalition of Immokalee workers. This means the company will support the fair food program which gives tomato harvesters a raise of a penny per pound. It also requires the grocery chain to buy only from growers who comply with a specific code of conduct, concerning worker's rights.
