LCSO employee resigns after improper conduct

LEE COUNTY, Fla.- A Lee County Sheriff’s Office employee has resigned after an internal affairs investigation found he opened an American Express Business Blue credit card for which he and the sheriff’s office were financially responsible, according to our partners at the News-Press.
Harry Balke, a Crime Scene Section manager and chemist, resigned from his position on Jan. 31.
