SARASOTA, Fla. (AP) - Police continue to search for the suspect in a standoff in Sarasota.
The Sarasota Herald Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/yi5quh ) a man robbed a bank Friday afternoon, leading to an eight-hour standoff outside the suspect's home. SWAT officers threw more than two dozen tear gas and concussion grenades into the home.
Neighbors reported seeing 52-year-old James William Holderman in the house. His car was also parked at the house, which Police Capt. Paul Sutton says was another reason police assumed Holderman was home.
No injuries or arrests have been reported.
