FORT MYERS, Fla.- On Friday, the Fort Myers Police Department arrested Willie Delaford, 28 of Fort Myers, for robbery with a firearm.
The robbery happened at the Shell gas station located at 4126 Palm Beach Boulevard on January 25, 2012 at 8:06 p.m.
Upon arrival officers learned that three male suspects entered the business armed with handguns and demanded money from the store clerk. Evidence was submitted to FMPD’s Crime Scene Unit. Police identified Delaford as a suspect from evidence left at the scene.
Police are still working to identify the two remaining suspects.
