LEE COUNTY, Fla. - A Lee County K9 unit seized a large marijuana shipment traveling through Lee County on Friday afternoon.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office said the discovery began with a traffic stop, after a detective pulled over a driver who was not wearing his seatbelt. The detective learned the driver was in a rented SUV with his cousin, but became suspicious when the driver and passenger did no seem to know each other's first and last names.

Detectives discovered the passenger had a previous criminal history involving drugs. The detective's K9 partner, Cole, then discovered the drugs: 90 pounds of marijuana contained in various boxes, with a street value of $360,000.

Deputies said the suspect was traveling from Miami to Bradenton to deliver the drugs.

Khalfani Robb, 31, of Miramar, FL, has been charged with Trafficking in marijuana over 25 pounds, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and keeping a shop or vehicle for a controlled substance.
