ENGLEWOOD, Fla.- Charlotte County Sheriff's detectives Thursday arrested a man and a woman for burglary to an Englewood East home on Klamath Falls Avenue. Robert “Bobby” Eugene Reames, 30, of 14399 Morristown Ave. in South Gulf Cove, and Nicole Lynn Guilfoyle, 29, of 3274 Spicewood Dr. in Gulf Cove were arrested for the crime.
The homeowner called CCSO to report his home had been forcefully entered; two pistols and $350 in coins were stolen. The owner had surveillance cameras around his home that showed a man and a woman pull up in a teal colored Ford Ranger pickup. The man appeared to have an unknown object in his hands when they left the home and drove away; a BOLO was issued.
A CCSO detective located the pickup and made a traffic stop. At the home, another detective viewed the video and knew Reames whom she went to high school with. Another detective also said he knew Guilfoyle from previous CCSO cases. Deputies found Clonazepam pills belonging to Guilfoyle.
Reames and Guilfoyle were transported to the Charlotte County Jail; both were charged with Burglary While Armed, Grand Theft Firearm and Grand Theft. Reames was additionally charged with Driving While Habitual Traffic Offender. Guilfoyle was additionally charged with Possession of Clonazepam, and two counts of Violation of Controlled Substance previous drug arrests. Reames and Guilfoyle each have been booked into the County Jail seven times.
