CCSO issues Silver Alert for missing, elderly man

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla.- Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate a missing person.
A Be On The Lookout (BOLO) was issued for 75-year-old George J. Overton who is 5’7, 214 lbs with black, salt and pepper hair. He was wearing an orange Miami Hurricanes t-shirt and blue basketball shorts with trim on the sides.
He was last seen at approximately 2:10 a.m. in the area of Elmira Boulevard driving a 2009 brown Hyundai Sonata with Florida tag GEOLYN1.
If you see Mr. Overton or his vehicle, you are asked to call the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office at 941-639-2101.
