FORT MYERS, Fla.- Travis Burton died in a shooting incident Wednesday evening in Fort Myers.
On Wednesday at 7:19 p.m., the Fort Myers Police Department responded to a call in reference to a shooting. It happened at 2518 Pauldo Street.
Upon arrival officers located one male victim. Officers immediately began life saving measures, however once EMS arrived the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police setup a perimeter using K-9 but have not located the suspect. Police are currently interviewing witnesses and holding the crime scene for investigators.
