LEE COUNTY, Fla.- The Republican race to win Florida continues. Newt Gingrich will be in Fort Myers this afternoon. His campaign is calling this a grassroots rally.

Newt Gingrich's rally is expected to start at Page Field at 4 p.m. this afternoon. This is just one of many stops the former Speaker of the House is making in Florida Monday.

He started this morning in Jacksonville, then to Pensacola. He'll then head to Tampa just before coming to Fort Myers.

Along for this massive state tour is Michael Reagan, the oldest son of former President of Ronald Reagan. He's speaking at these events on behalf on Gingrich, as the former Speaker continues to align himself with the politics of Ronald Reagan.

After Fort Myers, he'll travel to Orlando for what his campaign is calling the "Crossing the Finish Line" rally.

Everyone is waiting to see how tomorrow's primary is shaping up. In Lee County, a grand total of 18,368 voted early. The Lee elections office says these numbers account for 4 percent of registered Republicans in Lee County who voted in the early elections.

The event Monday is open to the public.
