FORT MYERS, Fla.- Mid-January the Fort Myers Police Department began an operation to address graffiti occurring in the City of Palms Parking Garage. The goal of the operation was to find and apprehend suspects responsible for defacing and damaging the garage and surrounding area. Through an investigation police developed possible suspects.
On Thursday at 10:47 p.m. officers observed three males and one female on the 6th floor of the garage. The garage closes at 5:00 p.m. and it is not normal for pedestrians to be in the area when they do not have a vehicle parked in the location.
In addition, all four had conflicting stories as to why they were there and officers feared that a crime was about to be or had been committed. Due to the recent criminal activity in the area police arrested the following people for Loitering or Prowling F.S. 856.021:
Devontay Ruffin, 19, of Fort Myers
Jessica Wilson, 19, of Lehigh Acres
Alexander Kulcsar, 20, of Fort Myers
Barry Tolles, 21, of Cape Coral
