FORT MYERS, Fla.- A Lehigh Acres woman has been found guilty of manslaughter in the stabbing death of her husband in 2010.

Leatha James was accused of stabbing her husband in the back during a domestic dispute back in 2010.

Four men and two women took three hours to decide her fate.

Thursday was day three of the manslaughter case against James. She was accused of stabbing her husband of 30 years, Arthur James, in what she described as a tussle over alleged infidelity.

James faces 12 years behind bars.

Her last trial ended in a hung jury. At that time, James had been offered a plea deal of five years probation in exchange for admitting she was guilty of causing her husband's death. She declined the offer, instead referring to the coroner's report of her husband's death where the medical examiner said it was improper intubation at Lehigh Regional Medical Center that contributed to Mr. James' demise.

James will remain in jail until her sentencing, which is scheduled for April 2, 2012.
