FORT MYERS, Fla.- As the Florida primary inches closer, candidates are turning their sights to southwest Florida in a final attempt to gain support.

On Tuesday Rick Santorum will make an appearance in Punta Gorda at Laishley Park. Bring your lawn chair to the park from 3-5:30 pm to hear him speak.

Newt Gingrich will also hold a grassroots event in Cambier Park in downtown Naples.
Gingrich's last appearance in Naples garnered hundreds of supporters, selling the event out.

You can catch him at the park starting at 5:00 pm. He will head north for a meet and greet with volunteers on Wednesday morning.

Gingrich will be in Fort Myers at 8:30 in the morning at Hobby Lobby at Colonial and Six Mile Cypress.

If you can't make it on Tuesday afternoon to see Rick Santorum you can catch him Wednesday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church on Orange Blossom Drive in Naples.

Mitt Romney has not yet announced event plans for southwest Florida.
