FORT MYERS, Fla. - What can you do in 1.8 Million seconds? That's how long it took for Theresa Orzechowski to create her masterpiece, an exquisite five foot tall clock.

"My son would come down to visit (from North Carolina) and we would work on it," said Orzechowski.

The 90-year-old and her son spent 500 tedious hours, spread out over five years, building the clock by hand. It's loaded with remarkable details. There are multiple rooms, each of them furnished.

Crafts have always been a favorite hobby, but she has many of them. At 90, the longtime Fort Myers resident keeps an active life. Friday is her weekly card game, full of women who share her zeal for life. The "baby" of the group is 85. They all have a lesson for the rest of us; don't watch time pass by.

"Keep working and different thing, keep active and you don't have a chance to die," Orzechowski said.

She won't sit around after her latest work. Orzechowski is looking for her next project, though she admits it won't be able to top the clock.
