Law school president releases statement in shooting incident

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- A statement has been released by the president and dean of the Ave Maria School of Law, Eugene R. Milhizer, regarding the recent shooting incident involving Christopher Ringley.
"Mr. Ringley has permanently withdrawn from Ave Maria School of Law and is no longer a student here, and he remains barred from campus. The legal process will continue and the school is committed to cooperating with the authorities. We will also continue to do all we can to support the other students involved in the January 13 event," Milhizer said.
