Repairs will affect Sanibel traffic

SANIBEL, Fla.- Lee County Electrical Co-op (LCEC) will be performing repairs to the electrical delivery system in Sanibel on Wednesday, January 18th, from 10 a.m. to approximately 2 p.m. on Wednesday. Traffic at 5659 Sanibel-Captiva Road will be constricted to alternating one-way traffic as repairs are made in the eastbound lane.
The road will not be closed, but delays are expected.
Motorists should plan their travel accordingly.
The public is reminded to please drive slowly and cautiously through the construction area and to follow the direction of the flaggers on site.
