TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Deputies say a man and a woman were found dead in an exclusive north Tampa neighborhood.
Hillsborough County Sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Carter says the bodies of 76-year-old Hector Rivera and 55-year-old Debra Rivera were discovered Monday night inside a home in the Avila subdivision.
Carter says the sheriff's office received a call just before 8 p.m. Monday. Responding deputies found two bodies at the home.
Deputies obtained a search warrant around 3 a.m. Tuesday and began processing the scene.
No further details were immediately available.
The Tampa Bay Times (http://bit.ly/yaQJkP ) reports the gated subdivision is among the most exclusive in the Tampa Bay area. Avila Residents have included former Tampa Bay Rays manager Lou Piniella and New York Yankee Joe Posada.
