ESTERO, Fla.- A Lee County mother was threatened with a knife by her son on Wednesday night, after an argument they got into over a ride to school in the morning and the use of her cell phone.
Her son reportedly said, "I'll fix this," then got a knife from the kitchen and proceeded to slash the tires on his mother's vehicle.
The boy admitted to what he had done and then said he would use the knife on his mother. She locked herself in the bathroom and called 911. The mother reported that her son continued to bang on the door and she feared he would hurt her with the 8-inch steak knife.
The boy was arrested for Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon and transported to the Lee County Jail.
