CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla.  - The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit issued an arrest warrant Saturday afternoon for the man responsible for shooting at a tow truck driver who went to the man’s home to repossess a vehicle. No serious injury was sustained. CCSO is asking the public for assistance in providing information on the whereabouts of Raul Romero, 36, who is the boyfriend of 26 year old Arazay Gonzalez. She was arrested Friday night after a search warrant was obtained and the SWAT team entered their home around 8 p.m. at 40991 Horseshoe Road near the Lee County line in the southwestern part of Charlotte County. The vehicle being repossessed belonged to Gonzalez.

Upon entry it was discovered that the home had an elaborate marijuana grow house operation. MCU detectives and members of the CCSO Narcotics Unit continue their investigation collecting evidence. More charges and possible arrests are pending outcome of the investigation. No other details are available at this time.
